As if you didn’t already know it from her three consecutive individual titles earlier this season, KU senior Lauren Clark has officially delivered one of the best seasons in KU women’s golf history.
And she has a little hardware to prove it.

Late last week, Clark became the fourth player in KU women’s golf history to earn all-Big 12 honors and the first in nine years.
She joins Amanda Costner (2006 & 2007), Emily Powers (2008) and Yupaporn Kawinpakorn (2014 & 2016) as the only other Jayhawks to achieve the feat.
And this one wasn’t some subjective selection by coaches who have players they prefer and play favorites. The 2025 All-Big 12 team was determined by the April 23rd Clippd Rank-ings, which had Clark as the 7th highest individual player from the Big 12 Conference.
Clark, who hails from Orlando, was a key contributor in the Jayhawks racking up a program-best five team wins this year, including the team title on her home golf course, where she took home the individual title, as well.
Clark’s win back in Orlando came during a stretch of three consecutive individual titles for the KU senior, who started her college career at LSU.
In addition to those trophies, Clark was named Big 12 Golfer of the Month in February and carries a national ranking of No. 51.
She told R1S1 Sports earlier this year that her goal, like that of many of her KU teammates, is to play professionally and to do it for a long time.
No matter what happens the rest of this season, the 2024-25 school year should be a nice springboard for Clark toward that goal, as she competed in all 10 events for the Jayhawks this season, leading the team with a scoring average of 71.7 strokes per round. She also led the squad in wins (3), top-5 finishes (4), top-10 finishes (5), rounds in the 60s (10) and lowest three-round, 54-hole score (199).
Now, she and her teammates are looking to take those types of numbers to the national stage, where they’ll compete in the Ohio State Regional in Columbus, Ohio, today through Wednesday.
KU is seeded 4th at the 12-team regional — another program record — and the top five teams in Ohio this week will advance to nationals later this month.
The Jayhawks' postseason run opens at 7 a.m. today, when freshman Ebba Nordstedt is the first from her team on the course, teeing off on hole No. 10.
Clark will tee off on No. 10 at 7:44 a.m., while Johanna Ebner (7:11 a.m., #10), Amy DeKock (7:22 a.m., #10) and Lyla Louderbaugh (7:33 a.m., #10) join them in trying to push the Jayhawks to the next stage. Senior Lily Hirst is also in Ohio competing for the Jayhawks this week.
