A few months back, before the KU football season started, freshman punter Damon Greaves talked about his plans — and excitement — to eventually meet up with fellow-Australian Jayhawk Johnny Furphy.
At the time Greaves discussed it, Furphy had yet to arrive and was newly committed to Bill Self's basketball program.
But in the months since, the two Australia natives have linked up to share tales of home and get to know each other while playing for the Jayhawks on the other side of the world.
