Notes and numbers from Sunday's 80-60 KU win over Missouri at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

The win dropped Kansas to 7-3 on the season and gave the Jayhawks four wins in five tries against the Tigers during the recent renewal of the Border War series.

The Jayhawks will have a few days off before jumping back into action again on Saturday, with a true road game at NC State in Raleigh, North Carolina.

TEAM NOTES

• Kansas led Missouri, 33-25 at halftime. The Jayhawks improved to 6-2 when leading at halftime this season.

• Kansas shot 5-of-15 (33%) from beyond the arc in the first half, marking the second game this season with at least five made 3-pointers in the first half. Kansas previously shot 6-of-14 (42.9%) in the first half at North Carolina on Nov. 7.

• Kansas held Missouri to 25 points in the first half, marking the lowest scoring half for the Tigers this season.

• Kansas held Missouri to 60 points, marking the fewest points scored by the Tigers this season. Missouri’s previous low of 71 points was at Notre Dame. It was also Missouri’s largest loss of the season.

• Kansas outrebounded Missouri, 41-35, and improved to 7-0 when outrebounding its opponent this season.

• Kansas shot 46% (26-of-57) while Missouri shot 34% (21-of-61). The Jayhawks improved to 7-0 when outshooting its opponent this season.

• Kansas is now 2-0 when scoring 80 or more points this season. The Jayhawks also improve to 5-0 when holding opponents to 60 or fewer points.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES

• Senior Tre White scored a team-high 20 points on 5-of-9 from the field and 7-of-8 from the free throw line. It marked White’s second game this season with 20 or more points, and the 13th game of his career.

• White’s 20 points and 13 rebounds also secured his second double-double as a Jayhawk and the 13th of his career.

• White has now scored at least 10 points in eight games this season and 56 times over his career.

• White went 3-of-5 from behind the arc and has now recorded two or more three pointers in a game for the fourth time this season, and 15th time in his career. White’s three 3-pointers are a season high, and ties for a career high.

• White grabbed 13 rebounds, marking a season high and the second-most rebounds in a game in his career (14 at Clemson, 2024). White has recorded five or more rebounds in eight-consecutive games.

• Freshman Bryson Tiller recorded a career-high five blocked shots, passing his previous career best of three, set against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Nov. 11. Tiller now has 15 blocks this season and a block in each of his last five games.

• Tiller grabbed five rebounds, marking the eighth time this season he has grabbed five or more rebounds in a game.

• Tiller finished with 13 points, marking his fifth game in double figures scoring this season. It was Tiller’s second-highest scoring performance of his career after scoring 17 points against Notre Dame on Nov. 24.

• Freshman Darryn Peterson finished with 17 points on 6-of-14 from the field, marking his third career game in double-figures. It was Peterson’s first appearance since playing at North Carolina on Nov. 7.

• Sophomore Flory Bidunga recorded two blocked shots, marking his fifth-consecutive game with two or more blocks and eighth time this season. • Bidunga finished with 10 points on 4-of-9 shooting from the field, marking his eighth-consecutive game in double figures.

• Bidunga’s 11 rebounds marked his fourth game this season with 10+ rebounds and the eighth of his career.

• Bidunga recorded has now recorded a double-double in back-to-back games. This marks Bidunga’s fourth double-double of the season, and sixth of his career.

• Senior Melvin Council Jr. recorded eight assists, and has recorded five or more assists in six games this season, and the 30th time in his career. Council’s eight assists were his most this season and the most since recording eight assists at Fordham on Jan. 4, 2025, while at St. Bonaventure.

• Council’s five rebounds mark the fifth time this season he has grabbed five or more rebounds in a game, and the 48th time in his career.

• Redshirt-sophomore Jamari McDowell finished with seven points on 2-of-4 shooting from the field. McDowell has scored five or more points in five-consecutive games.

• McDowell went 2-of-4 from the three point line, marking his fourth-consecutive game with two or more three pointers made.

• Redshirt sophomore Elmarko Jackson recorded a season-high three assists.
