Here's a quick look back at some of the most noteworthy stats and milestones from 9th-ranked Kansas' 86-67 drubbing of the Texas Longhorns on Saturday evening at Allen Fieldhouse.

• Made Kansas 21-6 and 9-5 in Big 12 play.

• Gave Kansas 21 wins in 34 of its last 35 seasons, beginning in 1989-90.

• Ended a Texas two-game winning streak against Kansas.

• Gave Kansas 19-straight home wins, including 14-0 this season.

• Made KU 854-117 all-time in Allen Fieldhouse, including 313-17 under Bill Self.

• Made Bill Self 586-138 while at Kansas, 793-243 overall and 27-13 all-time against Texas, 27-11 while at Kansas.

• Made Kansas 2,391-891 all-time.

TEAM NOTES

• Kansas allowed just 25 points in the first half, marking the fewest points allowed to a conference opponent in the first half this season.

• In addition, the 20 point lead is the largest the Jayhawks have held against a conference opponent this season and largest first half margin against any team since Kansas led Manhattan College 44-19 on November 10, 2023.

• Kansas held Texas to 9-of-34 shooting (26.5%) in the first half, which is the lowest percentage allowed to a conference opponent in the first half this season. The 26.5% shooting performance is the third-lowest number allowed by Kansas in any half this season.

• Kansas has won 71-straight games in Allen Fieldhouse when leading at halftime, dating back to the beginning of the 2018-19 season.

• All five of Kansas’ starters scored in double-figures on Saturday, marking the third time this season Kansas had all five starters in double-figures. The last time was against Oklahoma State on Jan. 30, 2024, while the Jayhawks improve to 3-0 when all five starters score 10+ points.

• Kansas defeated Texas 86-67, marking Kansas’ most points scored in a Big 12 Conference game at home this season. It was also Kansas’ most points at home in any game since scoring 99 vs. Manhattan College on Nov. 10, 2023.

• Kansas’ 86-67 victory on Saturday was the largest KU margin of victory in the series Feb. 29, 2016, when Kansas defeated No. 23 Texas 86-56 in Austin.

• Kansas also improved to 15-2 in games when leading at the half this season.

• Kansas outrebounded Texas, 34-25. Over the last 68 games, Kansas is 66-2 when outrebounding their opponent.

• Kansas scored 52 points in the paint on Saturday, the second most in any game this season and the most against a conference opponent. The 52 points in the paint are the most since scoring 58 against Chaminate on Nov. 20, 2023.

• Kansas shot 32-of-52 (61.5%) from the field on Saturday, the highest shooting percentage in a conference game since shooting 68.9% against Houston on Feb. 3, 2024. The Jayhawks have now shot over 60% from the field in five games now this season and are now 12-2 when shooting 50% or better from the field this season.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES

• Dajuan Harris Jr. scored 14 points on 7-of-11 shooting, marking the 35th time of his career scoring 10 or more points. Kansas is 33-2 when Harris scores 10 or more points, including 9-1 this season.

• Harris added one steal and now has 206 in his career, which ties Kirk Hinrich for sixth in KU history for all-time steals.

• Harris finished the game with no turnovers, his second-straight game with no turnovers. Harris has now gone 105 minutes and 18 seconds without a turnover stretching back to the first half of the Texas Tech game on Feb. 12. Harris finished with six assists, marking his fourth game this season with 6 or more assists and no turnovers.

• KJ Adams scored 16 points to mark his 21st game this season scoring in double figures including his 12th in Big 12 play. Adams now has 41 career games in double figures.

• Hunter Dickinson scored 20 points on 9-of-17 from the field, marking his 25th game in double-figures this season and 108th of his career. This marks the 13th time this season Dickinson has had over 20 points in a game and is the 47 time in his career. Dickinson also surpassed 2,100 career points and now has 2,111 career points.

• Freshman Elmarko Jackson contributed 4 assists on Saturday, his most assists since he had a career-high 9 assists vs. Manhattan on Nov. 10, 2023.

• Redshirt senior Nicolas Timberlake scored 13 points on 3-of-6 from the field and 6-of-8 from the free throw line, marking his fifth game with 10+ points this season and 62nd game of his career. Timberlake’s 13 points tied a season-high set three times this season, most recently at Texas Tech on Feb. 12, 2024. Timberlake has scored 10 or more points in two of the last three games.

• Freshman Johnny Furphy finished with 16 points on 3-of-3 from the field and 9 of-11 from the line, his 12th career game with 10+ points. Furphy has now scored 10+ points in 10 of his 12 starts.
