The Kansas men's basketball team dropped a hard-fought home game to visiting BYU on Tuesday night, during the Cougars' first trip to Allen Fieldhouse as a member of the Big 12 Conference.

KU led 35-29 at the break but was outscored 47-33 in the second half on its way to defeat.

The loss dropped KU to 21-7 overall and 9-6 in Big 12 play. BYU improved to 20-8 and 8-6.
