The Kansas women's basketball team bounced back from a road loss at Texas A&M over the weekend with a 79-57 home win over Houston Christian on Wednesday night at Allen Fieldhouse.

Every player that entered the game for the Jayhawks (4-4) scored, with freshman S'Mya Nichols leading the way with a career-high 20 points to go along with 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Senior guard Holly Kersgieter added 12 points, 6 rebounds and a career-high 4 blocked shots, while senior Zakiyah Franklin had 10 points and 3 assists.

Kansas also got 25 points from its bench, led by a career-high 8 points from reserve forward Danai Papadopoulou and five apiece from Zsofia Telegdy, Skyler Gill and McKenzie Smith.

Next up, the Jayhawks will play at Wichita State at 1 p.m. Sunday.
