The Kansas women's basketball team faces a tough challenge and a golden opportunity this Sunday at Allen Fieldhouse, when the Jayhawks welcome No. 10 Kansas State to town.

Not only is it the second edition of this year's Sunflower Showdown — K-State won the first meeting in Manhattan earlier this season — but it also presents KU with a chance to pick up a much-needed signature win to help bolster their NCAA Tournament chances.

With three games to play in the regular season, along with whatever Big 12 tournament and postseason fate awaits after that, the Jayhawks know they still have work to do. But instead of that adding pressure or feeling like a burden, they talked on Friday about that being the perfect opportunity for them to reach their goals.

Here's more on that and the matchup with K-State, which figures to be a classic.

Tipoff is slated for 1 p.m. Sunday at Allen Fieldhouse.
