The win moved Kansas to 4-2 on the season and gave the Jayhawks their first win over a power-conference program.

TEAM NOTES
• Kansas finished with 44 rebounds and nine turnovers Monday. Kansas improved to 43-0 under Bill Self when it has 40+ rebounds and less than 10 turnovers in a game. The Jayhawks have done it twice this season (Green Bay, 11-3-25).
• Kansas out-rebounded Notre Dame 24-15 in the first half, leading Notre Dame in both offensive and defensive rebounds.
• Kansas has four players in double figures for the second game this season, the other was against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on 11-11-25.
• Kansas has eight blocked shots. The Jayhawks have at least eight blocks in three of six games this season. Kansas is one of seven schools that has three games with at least eight blocked shots this season (Florida Atlantic, Georgia, Seton Hall, UC Irvine, Utah Valley, Virginia).
• Kansas out-rebounded Notre Dame 44-34 and marks the fourth time this season that Kansas has out rebounded its opponent by 10 or more. KU’s 44 rebounds ties a season high in team rebounds, while 10 offensive rebounds set a new season high.
• Bryson Tiller, Flory Bidunga and Tre White each finished with nine rebounds. That marks the first time since March 5, 2022 versus Texas (Jalen Wilson, David McCormack and Christian Braun) that Kansas had three players with at least nine rebounds apiece.
INDIVIDUAL NOTES
• Sophomore Flory Bidunga finished the game with 18 points, nine rebounds, five assists and five blocks. Bidunga has now scored in double figures in five of six games this season, and 10 times in his career. Bidunga finished with a season high five blocked shots, which marks the third time in his career where he has recorded five or more blocks in a game. Bidunga’s five assists set a new career high.
• Bidunga is the first Big 12 player since Baylor’s Ekpe Udoh (March 28, 2010 vs. Duke) to have at least 18 points, nine rebounds, five rebounds and five blocks in a game. Bidunga is the second player nationally to do it this season, joining Michigan’s Aday Mara.
• Senior Tre White finished with 16 points on 5-12 shooting, marking his fourth-consecutive game with 10 or more points and 53rd time in his career. White made two three point field goals for the second time this season and 13th time in his career. White grabbed nine rebounds and has now recorded eight or more rebounds in three consecutive games. White played 34 minutes against Notre Dame and has played 30-plus minutes for the third consecutive game.
• Senior Melvin Council Jr. scored 12 points on 5-11 shooting against Notre Dame, giving him back-to-back games in double figures this season and for the 59th time in his career. Council made a season high two three pointers for the 18th time in his career, and finished shooting 2-6 from behind the arc. Council tied a season high with five rebounds, and marks the 45th time in his career where he has grabbed five or more rebounds in a game.
• Council tallied four assists and has now recorded four or more assists in all six games to start the season. Council recorded a season high two steals for the 33rd time in his career. Council played a season high 38 minutes and is the third game this season where he has played over 30 minutes.
• Redshirt-freshman Bryson Tiller finished with a career high 17 points on 8-15 shooting marking the third time this season he’s eclipsed double figures in points. Tiller grabbed a career high nine rebounds against Notre Dame, marking his fourth consecutive game with five or more rebounds and fifth time this season. Tiller set a new career high with two assists against Notre Dame. Tiller played a new career high 35 minutes, which marks the first time in his career where he played 30 or more minutes in a game.
• Redshirt-sophomore Jamari McDowell recorded a season high five points and has now recorded five or more points for the seventh time in his career. McDowell played a season high 18 minutes, and recorded his first block of the season, and fourth block of his career.
