The Kansas men's basketball team knocked off Kansas City, 88-69, on Tuesday night at Allen Fieldhouse, behind another strong showing from its core four and 10 points off the bench by freshman guard Johnny Furphy.
KU improved to 8-1 with the win and will return to Allen Fieldhouse on Saturday to take on Border War rival Missouri at 4:15 p.m. on ESPN.
