We're closing in on a month out from the 2025 KU football opener and the grand opening of the newly renovated David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium and the stunning new venue is really starting to shine.

KU recently released a handful of photos and videos showing some of the branding details that have been put in place at The Booth.

Last month, the Jayhawks unveiled the official "Booth" logo.

And then it was time for the field reveal. KU did this in a piece-by-piece approach, with a new element of the MMTH-designed (Mammoth) turf being uncovered every day.

The new turf is slated to be in place in the next week or so and it has some super-cool features that are new to KU.

• Wheat backdrop in the end zones

• Rock Chalk & Jayhawk written in the team boxes along the sidelines

• A big, bold, classic Jayhawk at midfield

• Big 12 and MMTH logos at the 25 yard lines on each end

• And more...

Inside, where construction crews are putting final touches on the branding and premium spaces that will wow fans for years to come starting with the Aug. 23 season opener against Fresno State, we see a variety of Jayhawk looks along with various materials used and designed to make each space really pop.

The official name on the outside of the redone west side really makes the whole thing start to look like a finished product.

KU Athletic Director Travis Goff recently shared a couple of his thoughts about the project and its execution and the views, which have come a long way since the media tour this spring.

Let the countdown continue...
